Requests to the content APIs that retrieve data from the cache are not rate limited. Requests that fetch content from the database are rate limited by default, depending on your pricing tier:
Free: 5 requests per second
Starter: 10 requests per second
Growth: 35 requests per second
Professional: 50 per second
Enterprise: 50 or more requests per second
If you need to make more requests than the default limit allows, you can request a custom plan that includes a higher rate limit. Please contact our sales team for more information.
Content entries refer to the total number of documents, web pages, or other types of content that you have created within caisy. Each time you create a new document, web page, or other type of content, it is counted as a content entry. This count includes all types of content, such as documents, components, and assets.
In caisy, assets are digital files such as images, PDFs, videos, zip files, and other file types that are stored and managed within our platform. These files can be used on your website or in other projects, and are stored in our digital asset management (DAM) system when uploaded. To ensure fast and reliable access, we use a content delivery network (CDN) to serve these assets.
In caisy, documents are typically used to store and manage larger, standalone pieces of content such as articles, blog posts, or webpages. These documents can include a mix of text, images, and other media elements, and are often structured as rich-text documents. Components, on the other hand, are smaller, reusable blocks of content that can be combined and assembled to create more complex layouts or designs. Examples of components might include a pricing section, a FAQs section, a statistics section, a blog section, a team section, or a form that can be embedded on a page to collect user input.
In caisy, blueprints are the underlying data models that define the structure and content of documents and components. A blueprint consists of a set of fields that can be clicked together inside the caisy UI, such as:
Rich text fields
Select fields
Reference fields
Color picker fields
Blueprints allow users to create custom templates or models for different types of content, and to define the specific types of data or information that each blueprint will store and manage. For example, a document blueprint might include fields for a title, body of text, and image, while a component blueprint might include fields for a title, subtitle, and list of items.
By using blueprints, users can create flexible and reusable content models that can be used to quickly and easily create and manage content in caisy.
